  • Preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Repair and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Solar photovoltaic systems (solar power solutions) installation and maintenance.
  • Consultancy for tertiary institutions and private organizations.
  • Technical support for teaching and research.
  • Development of innovative solutions.
  • New Initiative: Research partnerships and collaboration on funding and grant applications related to equipment procurement.

Solar Photovoltaic Systems and Power Backup Solutions
The EMC provides end-to-end solar power solutions including system design, equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and post-installation support. Each system is carefully designed to match the specific energy requirements of the client unit, ensuring efficient performance and long operational life.

Our installations prioritise high-quality components sourced from reputable manufacturers with established technical support in Nigeria. This ensures reliability, availability of spare parts, and long-term maintainability of installed systems.

In addition to installation, the Centre provides ongoing technical support, periodic maintenance, and professional guidance on system operation to ensure safe use and optimal performance.

Why Work With the Equipment Maintenance Centre?

The EMC provides solar and equipment services with an emphasis on long-term reliability, safety, and institutional accountability.

Key advantages include:

Institutional Accountability
As a University unit, our operations are guided by professional standards, transparency, and the responsibility to protect the University’s infrastructure and investments.

Careful System Design
Each installation is designed based on detailed assessment of the client’s energy requirements to ensure balanced system performance and durability.

High-Quality Components
The Centre prioritises the use of reputable equipment manufacturers with established service networks in Nigeria. This ensures reliability, availability of spare parts, and long-term operational stability.

After-Installation Support
Unlike many commercial installations, EMC provides continued technical support, system monitoring advice, and maintenance services to ensure that installations continue to perform effectively over time.

Cost-Effective Solutions
Because EMC operates within the University environment, our objective is not simply installation but long-term value. We therefore strive to minimise costs while maintaining high standards of equipment quality and engineering integrity.
